We believe that God is doing amazing things in Pakistan, and we wanted to share them with you. In these weekly articles we will provide stories of those who are on the frontlines sharing the gospel at great risk to themselves. They are boldly proclaiming the gospel and seeing God work in incredible ways.
We will also share ways that you can get involved both with prayer requests and with whatever resources you are led to give. We thank you again for taking the time to read and hope God blesses you and the work He has ultimately called you too as well.
New opportunities in Pakistan for the Gospel
God has opened an amazing opportunity in Quetta city, which resides in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. According to the Joshua Project, there are almost no Christians in this area, but God is at work. A few months ago, some believers in the area reached out to me (Shan Elahi) and told me that they were praying that someone would train them for the missionary work, which comes to them at a huge risk to their lives and wellbeing. They have a great desire to fulfill the great commission and reach their region for the gospel. They told me, “We see that God has given you the strategy and vision through these bible colleges to make disciples, we desire to go through the classes to reach our city and beyond”.
I talked with them a few days ago again and they are still excited to go through these classes and reach their region for Christ. There are 14 people who are desiring to come to the college outside of their city and be trained. We are needing both prayer and support for these precious believers to go through this curriculum and reach their region for Christ. We have the materials, and we are needing monthly support for the minister who will come and teach the classes and take the students through the materials that we will provide for them. The cost is $50 monthly to pay for the expenses of the teacher. We would love to have you support this effort in reaching this unreached people group of the Balochistan region.
We are constantly hearing reports of all that God is doing in and around the nation of Pakistan through those who come and go through the History Makers Bible Colleges. They are being equipped with the Word of God and being sent to their nation to reach every region for the Gospel. We would love to have you partner with us both financially and in prayer. Ways to Pray for Pakistani Brothers and Sisters
- Always we pray for protection for those who are spreading the Gospel in Pakistan. This is a very hostile region to the Gospel and our brothers and sisters are constantly at risk of physical and financial harm from their fellow countrymen.
- We pray for the provision of every need that these precious believers have. We know that because they believe differently than the majority of the people of Pakistan, it is more difficult to buy, sell and trade in order to get everything they need. Also, there aremore needs then just financial, health both physical and mental is also at the forefront as well. However, we know that our Father in Heaven provides every need according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:19).
- We also would ask that you pray for those who are already going through the bible colleges that they will have all wisdom and knowledge, and they will be filled with light so they can shine before all.
